Winter, Ronald H. of Pendleton, NY, passed away on Friday October 3, 2014 at home. Born on October 9, 1946 in North Tonawanda, NY, he was the son of Eugene A. and Roberta L. Hayward Winter. Ron served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era, earned a Master’s Degree in Economics and was a CPA/Auditor for ITT Standard in Buffalo. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling to Houston and to exotic places. Ron is survived by his devoted daughter, Jaclyn (Christopher) Kauffman of CA; his brother, James (Mary Ann) Winter of TX; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his siblings, Robert Winter and Jeanine Rocchio. Friends may call on Monday 4:00 – 8:00 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave., Lockport, NY where prayers will be offered on Tuesday at 9:00 AM followed at 10:00AM by A Mass of Christian Burial at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 5443 Tonawanda Creek Road, North Tonawanda, NY. Interment in Good Shepherd Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc. and the Alzheimer’s Association.
