Obituary of William A. Quade

William A. Quade Quade, William A. of Lockport, NY passed away on Saturday December 27, 2014 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born on September 28, 1947 in Indianapolis, IN, he was the son of Ella Laverne Bailey Quade and the late Orlan Quade. Bill served in the U.S. Army from 1968 – 1970 during the Vietnam War. He attended Ball State University and graduated from Buffalo State University. Early in his career, Bill taught Industrial Arts and Technology at West Seneca East spending most of his teaching years with Akron Central Schools, retiring in 2006. Bill was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, Lockport Town and Country Club, New York State United Teachers Association and American Federation of Teachers. He was an avid golfer and loved NASCAR, fishing and country music. Bill was a brave, funny, generous and gentile person. He never wanted anyone to make a fuss over him. He died quickly and with dignity leaving a life that still held great quality. Surviving along with his mother, Ella Laverne Quade, his wife of 43 years, Ida Renna Quade; his brother, James (Kathy) Quade; brothers in law, Anthony (Sharon) Renna and Michael (Carol) Renna; nieces and nephews, Jeromi (Betsy) Quade and their children Katie and Summer, Joshua (Chanda) Quade and their children, Anthony and Johnathan, Jessica (Brandon) Warfield and their children, Michaela and Lillian, Stephen (Kim) Renna and their children, Samantha, Christian and late Nicholas, Jonathan (Kari) Renna and their children, Elizabeth and Briana, Heather Pollock, Sarah Renna and Rachel Renna. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends. He’ll be sadly missed by all. Friends may call on Friday 2:00 – 6:00 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave., Lockport where a memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Inurnment in Cold Springs Cemetery.
