Joseph H. Maduri of Lockport, NY passed away on Thursday June 23, 2016 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born June 3, 1924 in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of Salvatore and Teresa (Felicetta) Maduri. He served in the Army Air Force during WWII and was a truck driver for Motor Express, retiring in 1986. Mr. Maduri was a member of the Navy Marine Club, V.F.W., American Legion and Teamsters Union. Predeceased by wives, R. Marion and Mary, a brother, Peter (Dorothy) and a son, James (Peg Beyer). He is survived by six daughters including Sandra Dula and Penny (Butch) Sikorski, son, Joseph (late Cathy); grandchildren; great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Shirley (late Charles) Douglass and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Sunday 3:00 – 7:00 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave., Lockport where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM. Memorials may be made the V.F.W or American Legion. Interment will be in Riverbank Cemetery, VT. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.langefuneralhomeinc.com.
