Lorraine E. Smith of Lockport, NY passed away on Saturday September 3, 2016 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born on August 20, 1949 in Auburn, NY, she was the daughter of Earl S. and Doris Strayer Smith. She started out at Bickford Box Company, worked 22 years at Corson Manufacturing and 12 years for Sodexo, retiring in 2013. She loved animals, researching family history, line dancing and bowling. Lorraine is survived by her dear friends, Gladys L. Flint, Joanne Condren and Dee Lute, her siblings; Richard (Colleen) Smith and Winifred Smith and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Wayne (Florence) Smith, Virginia (Aaron) Crego and Beverly Metzinger-Dier. Friends may call on Thursday 3:00 – 7:00 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave., where funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM. Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to an animal charity of one’s choice. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.langefuneralhomeinc.com.
