Voelker, Alvin G., Jr. “Skip” of Lockport, NY, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025, in Niagara Hospice House. Born on September 19, 1936, in Medina, NY, he was the son of the late Alvin G., Sr. and Mildred (Reabold) Voelker. He and his wife, the former Diann Thompson were married on August 19, 1967. He retired from Harrison Radiator in 1994. He was a member of First English Lutheran Church, was an avid sports fan and walked to Tom’s Diner every morning for coffee until recently. Surviving is his wife, Diann Thompson Voelker; children, Sharon Voelker, Sara Tina (Terry) Benedict, James (Kim) Voelker and Teresa (Curt) Maslowski; daughter in-law, Sonya Voelker; grandchildren, Corey (Megan) Voelker, Kirrin (Chris) Cook, Kelsey (Mia) Voelker, and Bradley Voelker and great-grandchildren, Katara Voelker, Averie Voelker and Jameson Cook. Friends may call on Saturday, June 21st from 10-11 AM. at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Avenue, Lockport with a Memorial Service to follow at 11 AM. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Niagara Hospice, Inc. Condolences may be offered to the family at Langefuneralhomeinc.com.
