Obituary of Peter D. Hey

Peter D. Hey of Lockport, NY, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025. Born on November 15, 1942, in Bridgeport, CT, he was the son of the late Albert and Eloise (Stringer) Hey. Peter served in the U.S. Army and Reserves from 1965 – 1971 and was the owner of Wakefield Sales in Lockport. He was an animal lover, an avid tennis player and reader, played golf, sang in the church choir and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Peter is survived by his wife, Susan Dahler Hey; step-son, Brian (Betsy) Willard; granddaughters, Justine (Michael) Willard and Krista Willard; step-grandchildren, Alayna (Cory) Winburn, Bryan Frey and Kyle Frey; siblings, Linda (Gary) Clayton and Jonathan (Barbara) Hey; brother-in-law, Douglas (Roberta) Dahler and several nieces and nephews. Peter was predeceased by his brother, David Hey.
Services will be private with inurnment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Niagara SPCA. Condolences may be offered to the family at Langefuneralhomeinc.com.
