Darryl P. May of Lockport, NY passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. Born on August 1, 1942, in Berwick, PA, he was the son of the late Albert and Helene (Schisler) May. Darryl taught social studies and economics at Lockport High School for 33 years, retiring in 1997. A longtime member of First English Lutheran Church, he was a Past Master of Masonic Lodge #73 and was an avid golfer and gardener.

Husband of Kathleen (Ogden) May and the late M. Jean May; father of Darren (Sandy) May, Trevor (Sarah) May, Rebecca (Chuck) Anderson-Pickering and Kristin (Brian) D’Amico; grandfather of Rachel (Jillian), Griffin, Abigail, Josie, Caleb, Cooper, Lillian, Corey and Charlie; brother of the late Ronald and the late Allison and uncle of several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call on Friday, October 3rd from 4-7 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave., Lockport. A Memorials Service will be held on Saturday, October 4th at 11 AM at First English Lutheran Church, 185 Locust St., Lockport.
