Marilyn A. Olear of Lockport, NY passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Born on September 13, 1936, in Riverside, NY, she was the daughter of the late J. William and Elsie (Klein) Anderson. Marilyn was the Executive Director of the American Red Cross here in Lockport for many years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved golf, fishing, singing, playing cards and entertaining and had a wonderful sense of humor.


Wife of the late Gerald A. Olear, Marilyn is survived by her children, Susan B. (Daniel Bunny) Rodgers, Nancy J. (Michael) Angelo, Thomas R. (Mary) Goehle and Timothy J. (Ann) Goehle; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters and a brother.


Funeral services will be private. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc. Condolences may be offered to the family at langefuneralhomeinc.com.
