MacEvoy, Geraldine M. “Geri” of Lockport, NY, passed away on Tuesday February 12, 2013 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born on July 28, 1930 in Medina, NY, she was the daughter of George and Margaret Skinner Flowers. She and her late husband, Walter M. MacEvoy, were married for 47 years. Geri cherished her family and loved living in the home that she and her late husband built together in 1949. Mom/Grandma had a very gentle soul and was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family. Wife of the late Walter M. MacEvoy and sister of the late Donald Flowers; she is survived by her children, Diane MacEvoy of Lockport, NY, Steven (Lisa Hogan) MacEvoy of Gasport, NY and Patty (Peter) Lange of Middleburg, FL; five grandsons, Adam (Lorena) MacEvoy of Bartlett, TN, Michael (Wendy) MacEvoy of Lewiston, NY, Eric (fiancé Maya Bassford) MacEvoy of Winston-Salem, NC, Alex Lange and Ethan Lange both of Middleburg, FL; two great grandsons, Connor MacEvoy and Traegan MacEvoy; sisters-in-law, Nancy Schmitt and Lila (Bob) Fogle and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Avenue, Lockport, NY where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM Interment in Cold Springs Cemetery. Memorials may be made the American Diabetes Association. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.langefuneralhomeinc.com.
