Obituary of Marcus A. Cooper

Cooper, Marcus A. of Lockport, NY, passed away on Friday December 20, 2013 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born on May 24, 1972 in Lockport, he is the son of Patricia Black Madden and Mark A. (Leslie) Cooper. He was employed by General Motors Corporation, was past Master Council of Tuscarora Chapter of DeMoley, enjoyed bowling and cooking and spent as much time as possible with his family. In addition to his parents, Markus is the husband of Dana Rasp Cooper; step father of Stephanie Tagg; brother of Kristine (Christopher) Budziszewski, Valarie (Jeffrey) Warren, Amanda (Floyd) Young and Mark (Gloria) Cooper II; grandson of Lois and late LaVerne Weber, late Louise and late LaVern Cooper and late Carol and late Norbert Matlock; son-in-law of Kay Rasp and Richard Rasp; brother-in-law of Maria Rasp and Jennifer (Stephen) Penkalski; uncle of Nicholas and Megan Warren, Janelle Chaffin, Julia, Jason and Jordan Robillard, Emma and Noah Cooper, Marissa Young and Alexandria Baxter-Brown and great uncle of Ellie Warren and Gianna Rasp. Also survived by many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave., Lockport. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woman and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, American Heart Association and American Lung Association.
