Phelps, Patricia A. of Lockport, passed away on Thursday May 8, 2008 in Lockport Memorial Hospital. Born on March 16, 1951 in Lockport, she is the daughter of Elizabeth McDonald Seiler and the late Donald E. Seiler. She served in the U.S. Navy from 1969 until 1971 and was an Administrative Assistant for New York State Department of State retiring in 2005. She was a member of the American Legion and the Civil Service Employee Association Union and was a Literacy volunteer. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, knitting and reading. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth A. Phelps of Mt. Vernon, NY, her mother, Elizabeth McDonald Seiler of Lockport, three sisters, Donna (Dennis) Bergman, Karen (Donald) Robison both of Lockport and Diane (Sean) McKeon of MA, three brothers, David Seiler, Donald Seiler and Daniel (Lisa) Seiler all of Lockport and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Douglas Seiler. Family and friends may call Saturday only 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Lange Funeral Home, Inc. 186 East Ave. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 AM. Interment in Cold Spring Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Lockport Memorial Hospital. You may post a message of sympathy at www.langefuneralhomeinc.com.
