Morris, Ruth M. (Graff) of Lockport entered into rest Friday, May 9, 2014. Born in Swormville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Martha E. Wilson Graff. Ruth worked at Harrison Radiator for more than 30 years. She was also an entrepreneur, once owning the Pine Street Diner. Ruth was an avid walker, golfer, traveler and reader. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Lockport Auxiliary 825 and golf leagues at the Niagara Orleans Country Club. She was also active with the cardiac rehab group at Eastern Niagara Hospital. Ruth was a member of the Dale Association, where she participated in the travel club and in tai chi classes for many years. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, the late Robert F. Morris, Sr. and two sisters, Frances W. Stopa and Madeline P. Waters. She is survived a sister, Shirley A. Gaygen (late William E.). She is also survived by her children, Robert F. Morris, Jr. (Suzanne) of Wellsville, Karen Sue Waite (Robert) of Hartland; her grandchildren, David S. Morris (Carmi), Robert F. Morris III, Melissa M. (Waite) Schwab (Kent), Adam P. Morris and Sarah G. Waite-Ardini (Andrew); her great-grandchildren, Troy Morris, Robert F. Morris IV, Eliza J. Schwab, Benjamin K. Schwab and Melayna Morris. Friends may call on Monday, May 12 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Lange Funeral Home, Inc., 186 East Avenue, Lockport where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 PM. Interment in Cold Springs Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Lockport Public Library. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.langefuneralhomeinc.com.
