Madelyn J. Stevens of Ransomville, NY passed away on Friday September 23, 2016 at home. Born on September 16, 1936 in Olean, NY, she was the daughter of Andrew and Thelma Napier French. Madge was a lab technician working at Eastern Niagara Hospital, Newfane for over 30 years and a member of the MOOSE.
Surviving are her son, Gregory French; two granddaughters, Tanya French and Jean Marie (Raul) Coriat; great grandchildren, Chloe and Gael and her siblings, Janice (late Robert) VanGhle, Andrea (Ray) Deuel, Dawn (late Paul) Cavaliere and Norman (Jeanette) French. Madge is predeceased by her companion, Robert Tipton and two sisters, Patricia (late Robert) Ost and Virginia Markell.
