Eleanor M. Kot Kot, Eleanor M. of Lockport, NY entered into rest on Friday June 11, 2010. Born on November 25, 1921 in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Stanislaus and Cecilia Niedsielska Lewandowska. Eleanor worked for the Curtis Wright Factory during World War II. She was one of the first women to receive training reading blue print plans for aircraft parts. She became a chief inspector and a role model for other women in the work place. After numerous jobs, she worked until 1970’s at the Fieldstone Restaurant and then retired. She was an avid fruit and vegetable gardener and a great supporter of the New York scratch off tickets. She is predeceased by her son, Larry and husband John. She is survived by an extended family of lifelong friends, Donna and Bryce McMichael, Mary Lou Donahue, the Ken Smith family, the Baldassaro family, and many neighbors and friends. A celebration of her colorful life will be held at a future date by the McMichaels. Memorials may be made to Cambria Congregational Church. Arrangements by Lange Funeral Home, Inc.
