Kathryn Schaffert Adams “Sis” Adams, Kathryn Schaffert “Sis” of Lockport, NY, passed away in Eastern Niagara Hospital on Tuesday November 23, 2010. Born in Lockport, NY, she was the daughter of Frank and Helen McCabe Schaffert. She and her late husband, Reginald G. Adams were married on June 8, 1945 and he passed away on May 25, 1994. Mrs. Adams was a member of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church and Hospital Guild, she loved to play bingo and bridge. Wife of the late Reginald G. Adams, she is the beloved mother of Reginald G. (Cynthia) Adams and Mary A. (Kingsley) Murphy both of Lockport, grandmother of Amy (Mark) Synoracki, Jillian (Sean) Stabler, Erica L. Hayes and Carrie (Scott Colonna) Adams, great grandmother of Michael and Madelyn Synoracki and Valerie Stabler and sister of John L. “Jack” Schaffert, Margaret “Nan” Shaw, the late Blanche MacArthur, the late Joseph Schaffert, the late Frank Schaffert and the late Helen Doyle. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday November 27, 2010 at 10:00 AM from St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, 168 Chestnut St. Lockport, NY. Interment in Cold Spring Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc.
