Nina T. Hawkins Hawkins, Nina T. of Lockport, NY passed away on Wednesday February 16, 2011 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born on November 11, 1931 in Lockport, she was the daughter of Norbert J. and Mary Tracy Stevenson. She was a telephone operator for Bell Telephone for 30 years retiring in 1991. Nina was an avid, lifelong NY Yankee fan and enjoyed gardening. Nina is predeceased by her husband Roland, her son Patrick W. and two sisters, Sally R. (Roland) Meincke and Donna M. (late Clayton) Covert. She is survived by two sons, Michael R. (Beverly) Hawkins of FL and John J. (Jodie) Hawkins of Lockport, two grandchildren, Janelle Hawkins and Caitlin N. Hawkins, two great grandchildren two sisters, Mary Alice (Norbert) Haley of Cortland, NY and Eileen A. Stevenson of Lockport and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Lange Funeral Home, Inc. 186 East Ave., Lockport, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 10:00 AM from All Saints Parish of St. Patrick’s Church, 76 Church St., Lockport, NY. Interment in Cold Spring Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Sisters of St. Mary. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.langefuneralhomeinc.com.
