DeLange, Ruth M. of Lockport, NY passed away on Monday January 9, 2012 Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born on December 22, 1919 in Utica, NY, she was the daughter of William and Gertrude McBride Hanrahan. Mrs. DeLange was most proud of being a registered nurse and a 1942 graduate of Buffalo General Hospital School of Nursing. She was the longest continuous member of the Lockport Town & Country Club, joining in 1946, a volunteer for Hospital Guild and the American Cancer Society and a member of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church. Predeceased in 1984 by her husband, Dr. Robert A. DeLange, she is survived by her children, Sue Anne (late Donald) Wilson of FL, Dr. Paul S. (Deborah) DeLange of Lockport and Cheryl DeLange of Wilson; four grandchildren, Lindsey Wilson, Robert Wilson, Lindsey (Kristopher) Schultz and Eric DeLange; two great grandchildren, Tanner Schultz and Graham Schultz; her sister, Carol Hoak and sister-in-law, Gloria Hanrahan. Friends may call on Wednesday 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Lange Funeral Home, Inc., 186 East Ave., Lockport, NY. Funeral services will be private. Interment in Cold Spring Cemetery. Memorials may be made to DeSales Catholic School. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.langefuneralhomeinc.com.
