Gehres, Zoe R. of Lockport, NY passed away on Friday, February 3, 2012. Born on October 24, 1923 in Lyndonville, NY, she was the daughter of Dean and Helen Searles Woodworth. She served in the Marine Corps during WWII and worked as a secretary for 30 years at Calspan in Cheektowaga. She was a member of the Marine Corp League in Buffalo and enjoyed sewing, reading and traveling. Predeceased in 1946 by her husband, SgtMaj USMC Albert Gehres, and her grandson Jon Mallon, she is survived by her daughter Jill (Gerald) Mallon of Lockport and her grandson Jeffrey Mallon. Funeral Services will be private. Interment in Lynhaven Cemetery, Lyndonville, NY. Memorials may be made to Mercy Flight Inc., 100 Amherst Vila Road, Cheektowaga, NY 14225.
