Obituary of LaVerne R. Weber

Weber, LaVerne R. of Lockport, NY passed away on Friday June 15, 2012 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born on April 13, 1925 in the Town of Royalton, he was the son of Fred and Martha Pardy Webber. Mr. Weber served in the U.S. Army during WWII and worked for Harrison Radiator for 31 years, retiring in 1981. He enjoyed bowling with the retirees league, farming and was a member of First English Lutheran Church and the VFW. He and his wife, the former Lois LaJoie, celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on February 2nd. Mr. Weber is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lois LaJoie Weber; three children, LaVerne R. (Susan) Weber, Jr. of Getzville, Dawn M. Weber and Leslie J. (Mark) Cooper both of Lockport; six grandchildren, Lisa, Kristina and Thomas Weber, Gregory Weber, Amanda (Floyd) Young and Mark Gloria) Cooper II; three great grandchildren, Emma, Noah and Hailey; his pet, Charcoal and a number of extended family. Friends may call on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Lange Funeral Home, Inc., 186 East Ave., Lockport, NY. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM from First English Lutheran Church, 185 Locust St., Lockport, NY. Interment in Glenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church.
