Waas, Donald W. of Lockport, NY passed away on Tuesday August 14, 2012 in Newfane Rehab & HCF. Born on January 1, 1943 in Lockport, he was the son of P.J. and Gladys Fitts Waas. He worked for Simond Saw & Steel for 22 years and then for American Brass. Donald was a member of Western New York Firemens Association, Firemens Association of New York State and the Elks Club in Tonawanda. Predeceased by his daughter Christine L. Waas and his brother, Jack Waas, he is survived by his son, Steven W. (Kathy) Waas of FL; dear friend, Gail Becker; two brothers, Robert Waas and Ronald Waas, one sister, Judith Demonico and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Friday 3:00 7:00 PM at Lange Funeral Home, Inc., 186 East Ave., Lockport, NY where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Charles Cemetery.
