Greta Aloisio Obituary
Aloisio, Greta M. of Lockport, NY passed away on Friday September 14, 2012 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born on May 11, 1930 in Lockport, she was the daughter of Anthony and Mary Pipitone Aloisio. She graduated from SUNY at Brockport with a Bachelors of Science Degree and was an Elementary School Teacher for 33 years at Washington Hunt Elementary School. Miss Aloisio was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, a life member of NYS Retired Teachers Association, a member of NYSUT, Lockport Education Association, Eastern Niagara County Retired Teachers Association, 50 year member, former board and scholarship committee member of Lockport College Womens Club and Alpha Delta Kappa, Honorary Sorority for Teachers. Miss Aloisio is survived by her sister, Rhoda (Edwin) Meyer of Rexford, NY; nieces and nephews: Joseph J. (Suzanne) Oliva III, Anne Marie (James) Carman, Susan E. Oliva and Stephen T. (Kristina) Oliva; great nieces and nephews: Joseph Oliva IV, Lauren and Daniel Carman and Melyssa and Adam Oliva; a special cousin, Sharon (James) Palladino and several other cousins. Friends will be received on Friday from 10:30 11:30 AM at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 75 East Ave. immediately followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM. Interment in Cold Springs Cemetery.
