L. June Meisner Meisner, L. June of Lockport, passed away on Saturday March 15, 2008 in the loving care of Hospice House. Born on June 11, 1924 in Lockport, she was the daughter of the late George and Ella Baker Hicks. June was a graduate of Lockport High School and was employed by General Motors and Ford Gum of Lockport and Akron. She was a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church and devoted many hours doing church duties. She was a member of the Lockport Senior Centre, loved to play bridge weekly and loved traveling with her late husband. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth E. Meisner, on October 28, 2006, three brothers, Paul, Clyde and Elmer Hicks and three sisters, Sara Pasda, Maze Diamond and George Anna Hicks. She is survived by her two nieces, Carol (Thomas) Bradley of Newfane and Phyllis Nicholson Johnson of Verona, VA and her dearest advocate, great niece, Debra Pelletier, Thomas Bradley, Jr. and Pamela Johnson. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday 2-4 PM at the Lange Funeral Home, Inc., 186 East Ave. where funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM. Interment in Glenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice House.
