Colopy, Emerson S. of Gasport, NY, passed away on Saturday January 12, 2013 in Absolut of Gasport. Born on April 25,1917 in Lockport, NY, he was the son of Roy and Cora Strauss Colopy. He retired after 40 years as a Tool Designer from Harrison Radiator. Mr. Colopy was a long time member of First English Lutheran Church, Lockport Camera Club and enjoyed gardening, fishing and working around his home. Predeceased by his wife, Ruth L. Colopy in 2004, he is survived by three sons, Robert (Gretta) Colopy of MO, Gerald (Lourdes Odie) Colopy of Kentucky and Donald (Rosita) Colopy of Gasport; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Wednesday 2-4 & 7- 9 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC.,186 East Ave.,Lockport, NY where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Interment in Glenwood Cemetery.
