Librera, Rose A., formerly of Lockport, NY, passed away on Sunday April 21, 2013 in Orchard Manor, Medina. Born on September 10, 1921 in Lackawanna, NY, she was the daughter of Pasquale and Mary Volpe DeMaria. She grew up in Lackawanna, owned Edie Adams Cut & Curl in Buffalo for 15 years and retired in 1982 when she moved to Lockport to be closer to family. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel A. Librera in 2000. Rose loved to travel, was a member of All Saints Parish and a loving mother and grandmother. Wife of the late, Samuel A. Librera, she was the loving mother of John (Laurie) Librera and Joseph (Sharon) Librera; loving grandmother of Joshua Librera, Kimberly (Kevin) Downey, Samantha Librera and Rebecca Librera; sister-in-law of Connie Librera and aunt of several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Samuel DeMaria, Mary Haskell and Dolores Antecki. Friends may call on Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave., Lockport, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday at 10:00 AM from All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport, NY. Interment in Cold Springs Cemetery.
