Sally J. Miner Miner, Sally J. of Lockport passed away on Thursday August 17, 2006 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born on February 21, 1931 in Lockport, she was the daughter of Frank and Mildred Kelly Ames. She and her late husband, Donald R. Miner, owned The Fieldstone Restaurant from 1986 until 1990 and was Vice President and Bookkeeper for Miner Electric until the late ‘80’s. She was a lifelong member of the First English Lutheran Church, the American Legion Auxiliary and an avid knitter. She entertained people with her many costumes. She was a great Mom and a great friend. Her husband, Donald R. Miner, predeceased her in 1989. She is survived by her children, Bonnie Burnett of Lockport, Cynthia (James) Rassulo of S.C. Kathleen Wik of Lockport and Terry (late David) Frye of MI, her grandchildren, Kelly MacDonell, Scott (Martha) Burnett, Jennifer (Riley Dunn) Wik, Tiffany Chastain, Sara (David) Haun, Jessica (Jason) Hutto and Michael Frye, five great grandchildren and aunt of Donald (Patricia) Thompson. He was predeceased by a sister, the late Jeanne Miner. Friends may call on Sunday 7-9 PM and Monday 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. at Lange Funeral Home, Inc., 186 East Ave. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM from the First English Lutheran Church, 185 Locust St. Entombment in Glenwood Mausoleum.
