Shaffer, Helen I. of Lockport, passed away on Sunday January 14, 2007 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born on December 21, 1920 in Lockport, she was the daughter of W. Frank and Amelia Bald Shaffer. Formerly, she was secretary at the Odd Fellow & Rebekah Home and retired from the Niagara County Court House Legislative Branch. She was a lifelong member of St. Stephens United Church of Christ. Survived by her sister, Ruth Shaffer and many nieces and nephews that loved her dearly, she was predeceased by a sister, Elnor Carnegie and two brothers, Franklin Shaffer and Earl Shaffer. Friends may call on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Lange Funeral Home, Inc., 186 East Ave. A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM from St. Stephens United Church of Christ, Tonawanda Creek Road, East Amherst.
