Winifred C. Ray Ray, Winifred C. of Lockport passed away on Sunday April 8, 2007 in Lockport Memorial Hospital. Born on June 19, 1905 in Lockport, she was the daughter of Thomas and Mary Monighan Judd. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, was retired from Norton Laboratories and enjoyed playing cards. She is survived by her daughters, Mary (Samuel) D’Auria of Lockport, and Betty (Edwin) Taylor of Gasport, a special step daughter-in-law, Rita Ray, eight grandchildren, Anthony (Lynn) D’Auria, Thomas D’Auria, Therese D’Auria, Tonya (Richard) Neumann, MaryBeth (Robert) Titus, Ellen (Jeff) Gang, Carolyn (Gregg) Babcock and Maureen Banaszak, several step grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, brother in law, Harry Sherriff and nieces, Mary Louise Ryan, Bernice Mears and Violet Herberger. She is predeceased by her husbands, Henry W. Sherriff and McKinley Ray, predeceased by her step children, Norman Ray, Francis Ray, Mary Loraine Pfiel and Loretta O’Hara, predeceased by her sister, Elizabeth Burke and her brother, Mark Judd. Friends may call on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Lange Funeral Home, Inc. 186 East Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday from St. Joseph’s Church at 10:00 AM.
