Obituary of Ruth E. Berg

Ruth E. Berg Berg, Ruth E., of Lockport, passed away on Saturday June 16, 2007 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born on April 12, 1920 in Buffalo, she was the daughter of Frederick and Esther O’Hanlon Remick. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, enjoyed playing bridge, bid pitch and good friends. She was predeceased in 1980 by her husband, Woodrow Berg, and three brothers, Fred, Bill and John Remick. She is survived by three daughters, Linda (Laurance) Maney of VT, Debra Zinter of Johnstown, NY and Wendy (Michael) Castonguay of MA, five grandchildren, Pilar (Chad) Hanchett, Ryan Zinter, Bridget Castonguay, Stephen Castonguay and Kevin Castonguay, two great grandchildren, Two nieces, Diane Remick and Cindi Landrigan, other nieces and nephews and a friend and neighbor, Linda Lukasik. Friends and relatives are invited to a funeral service on Saturday June 23, 2007 at 10:00 AM. from the Lange Funeral Home, Inc. 186 East Ave. Interment in Cold Spring Cemetery.
