Obituary of Dorothy A. Zimmerman

Dorothy A. Zimmerman Zimmerman, Dorothy A. of Newfane, passed away on Tuesday July 31, 2007 in Newfane Rehab & HCC. Born on July 27, 1925 in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of Justin and Lulu Rogers Libby. She lived in the Buffalo area from the early 1940’s until the early 1970’s when she moved to Massachusetts. She returned to this area in 1993. She loved to crochet, work crossword puzzles and listen to music. Dorothy was the last and the youngest of eleven children. Dorothy is survived by her children, Robert E. (Martha) of N.T., Richard D. (Elisabeth) of Lancaster, Karen J. (Robert) Dias of MA, Diane M. (Thomas) McBride of Lockport, Patricia A. Barreira and Melody A. Matranga both of N.H., 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandsons and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Friday 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the Lange Funeral Home, Inc. 186 East Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday at 9:00 AM from St. John’s Church.
