Obituary of Norma Jean Hill

Norma J. Jean Hill Hill, Norma J. Jean of Lockport, went into the arms of the Lord on Monday October 8, 2007 after a short illness. Born on December 13, 1941 in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of late Kenneth and Vera Wheat. She moved to Akron as a youngster and has lived in Lockport since her marriage in 1967. She was an Inspector General at Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems for 30 years retiring in 2000. Jean was a member of the Dale Association and enjoyed painting, gardening, bird watching, camping, her weekly UAW golf league and traveling far and wide to Hawaii, Alaska, Arizona, Wyoming and Florida many times. Jean always had a cheerful smile and a friendly hello that will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 40 years, Franklin H. Hill, her two daughters Elizabeth J. Hill and Lorie M. Hill, Her sisters, Ellie (Leonard) Weiss and Vivian Wheat, her brothers, Paul (Barbara) Wheat and Percy (Barbara) Wheat and her several nieces and nephews. We cannot forget to mention the pets that she always called angles with fur that will miss her too. Friends may call on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Lange Funeral Home, Inc. 186 East Ave. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM from Pendleton United Methodist Church, Campbell Blvd., Pendleton.
