Wilma F. Covell Covell, Wilma F., age 87, passed away on October 18, 2007 in Akron, OH. She lived most of her life in Lockport, NY. In 2002, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Donald R. Covell. She was born in Cranfills Gap, TX to Gustav and Pauline Knudson. Wilma graduated from Providence Hospital School of Nursing in San Antonio, TX. In 1946, she married and moved to Lockport. She retired from the Niagara County Health Dept. after 19 years. Wilma had many interests. She was a great friend and neighbor. In her spare time she enjoyed playing cards, growing roses, cooking and entertaining. Coffee. Dessert and cards with Wilma were always filled with fun and laughter and good times. She was well known for her cherry pies. We will miss her strength and smile that warmed our hearts. She was a wonderful mother to son, Phil (Colleen) Covell of OH and daughter, Marsha (Sam) Baghdadi of FL, and grandmother of Joseph and Lauren Covell, and Ruth Ann and Michael Baghdadi. She was predeceased by three brothers, Oscar, Milton and Glenn and four sisters, Era, Modine, Ruth and Gene. Friends may call on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Lange Funeral Home, Inc. 186 East Ave. where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Interment in North Ridge Cemetery.
