Obituary of Charles B. Kenyon

Charles B. Kenyon Kenyon, Charles B. of Lockport, NY, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born on November 18, 1923 in the Town of Somerset, NY, he was the son of Herman G. and Elizabeth Reinhardt Kenyon. He served in the Army during WWII from 1943 – 1945. He and his wife, the former Joleen Conlin, were married October 9, 1948. Chuck worked at the former Simonds Saw & Steel, for several dealers as a used car salesman and finally was a franchised distributor of Archway Cookies retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Gasport Lions Club and a life time member of the VFW. Chuck will now be rooting for the Yankees from heaven. Chuck is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joleen Conlin Kenyon, his children, Charleen Thompson, Charles G. (Robin) Kenyon, Sharon (David) Farrugia and Michael J. Kenyon; 10 grandchildren, Christine Thompson, Catie Thompson, Keith (Megan) Kenyon, Jenilee Kenyon, Jillian (Kyle) Baird, David J. (Marissa) Farrugia, M.D., Thomas C. (Jamie) Farrugia, DDS, Mark (Dr. Alison) Farrugia, Tyler Kenyon and Whitney Kenyon; 3 great grandchildren, Allison Kenyon, Colby Baird and Nina Farrugia; brother, Leland “Nip” (Lois) Kenyon and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Leslie, Harold, William and Jean Prendergast. Friends may call on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave., Lockport, NY where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 AM. Interment in Hartland Central Cemetery.
