Thelma M. Demmin Demmin, Thelma M. of Lockport, NY, passed away on Saturday January 31, 2015 in Odd Fellow & Rebekah HCF. Born on February 28, 1923 in Lockport, she was the daughter of Walter and Gladys Fellows Scheitheir. She and her late husband, Merton L. Demmin were married on November 25,1939 and he died on August 18, 2000.Thelma waitressed at Wagner’s Restaurant for several years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid and enjoyed crocheting and playing cards. Thelma was predeceased by her husband, Merton L. Demmin, her son, Carlton L. Demmin and two sisters, Naomi Sawicz and Dorothy Stamp. Surviving are her daughter, Linda M. (Russ) Fogle of Lockport; daughter-in-law, Peggy L. (Donald Henning) Demmin of Naples, FL; grandchildren, Mark C.(Jacquelyn Finnerty) Demmin, Matthew (Katherine) Fogle, Gregory A. (Erin Jeziorski) Demmin and Kristi M. Fogle; great grandchildren, Liame and Octavia Demmin, Johnathan Benedict and Owen and Jack Fogle; nieces, nephews and sister-in-law, Theresa Demmin. Friends may call on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave., Lockport, NY. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM from Trinity Lutheran Church, 67 Saxton St. Interment in Glenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church or Niagara Hospice, Inc.
