Viola M. Martin
Martin, Viola M. of Lockport, NY passed away on Monday February 16, 2015 in Niagara Hospice House. She was born on January 7, 1925 in Port Byron, NY. Viola married her husband of 73 years, Ralph R. Martin, on September 1, 1941. She was a member of the Wilson Senior Citizens, loved crafts and flowers and enjoyed traveling.
Viola is predeceased by her daughter, Viola Ruth Martin. She is survived by her husband, Ralph R. Martin, her children, Dorothy (Tom) Hooker of OR, Joanne Martin of Lockport, Dianne (David) Roberts of NC, Carol (David) Henning of Newfane, David Martin of the Philippines, Lynn (Wayne) Laubacker and Donald (Diane) Martin both of Lockport; 52 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, a special friend, Sue Pax and three adopted grandchildren, Brenda, Anita and Alicia.
Private funeral services will be held. Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross or Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.langefuneralhomeinc.com.
