Patsy was my grandmother's niece, though they were only a few years apart in age. It is my understanding that they weren't always close as children, they grew to be close as they both got older. While my grandmother, Gloria Perkins Eustice, no longer lived in New York, she always took the time to stay in touch with Patsy. They would write letters back and forth and I remember as a child that she always had a funny story to tell of Patsy and their childhood. Patsy, my brother Paul Wedin's Godmother, always remembered my own birthdays - and I'll always remember her signature with the giant "P" in the bottom left corner of her cards. I didn't get to meet her in person until she was already living at The Waters, but she'll always hold a special place in my heart. Godspeed, Patsy. You are loved. - Chaundra Gonzales, Husband John, and son's Justin, Liam and Aaron. ;
