Mary E. Nicholas, 67, of Lockport, NY, passed away on Saturday 17, 2016. She was born December 23, 1948 in Amsterdam, NY to Doris (Hagaman) and George J. Stangle, Sr. Mary graduated from SUNY Geneseo and made Lockport her home. She was most recently employed as a bookkeeper at Frank’s Vacuum Truck Service of Niagara Falls for many years.
She is survived by her sisters, Doris Karchesky and Elizabeth Grajewski; sister-in-law, Marilyn Stangle; brothers, Edward (Betty) Stangle and Robert Stangle; cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Gertrude Natale, Barbara Heaton, and Jeanette Stangle, George Stangle, Clifford Stangle and Richard Stangle.
Mary was an avid reader and quilter. Her family would like to thank everyone that supported her with care, kind wishes and prayer through her struggle with cancer. Memorials may be to the charity of one’s choice. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.langefuneralhomeinc.com
