David W. Latta, of Lockport, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday October 26, 2016. Born on May 21, 1957 in Lockport, he was the son of James Donald and Naomi Beattie Latta. He ran his father’s heating business, J.D. Latta Heating for 10 years before going to work for Belknap Heating & Cooling. David enjoyed family time, sports cars, camp fires and camping where he had an extended family.
David is the husband of Mary McEachon Latta; father of Julie Latta and Keith Latta; brother of Douglas (Gina) Latta, Dennis (late Shirley) Latta and the late Donald (Carol) Latta; brother-in-law of John Michael (Tammy) McEachon, Joseph (Cynthia) McEachon and Patricia Dockum and uncle of several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Friday 4:00 – 8:00 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave. where funeral services will be held on Saturday at a 10:00 AM. Interment in Cold Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.langefuneralhomeinc.com.
