My sincere condolences to all of the Martin Family on the passing of your mother, Jenny. I have known her for most of my life and though our relationship was more of Mom to my friend Jack, I will always remember her as a very classy lady the brought an err of sophistication and good taste I appreciate and carry to this day.
It was in grade school when I was hanging with Jack that I first met her and she left this impression on me. I think she gave us a few bucks to go get a treat one summer afternoon and was so gracious and kind.
My mother, Sally Craig, more recently enjoyed being her church buddy and they often a=sat together and chatted afterwards. More recent struggles prevented that from continuing and know she thought of her daily.
Feel blessed we have another angel looking down on all of us.

Dear Ann, Ellen, Kathy, Mike, Jim,& Jack,
I am so sorry for your grief and pain of losing your mother. It is one of the hardest things to go through in life. As Ann's long time neighbor and friend I've have had the pleasure of meeting most of you, but most of all, the honor of meeting your mom on more than one occasion. When I first met her many years ago, I told her how impressed I was by her on raising 6 kids who all turned out to be wonderful and successful people. She smiled and joked. She was so sweet and charming. I see so much of her in her kids.
I love hearing stories from Ann and Ellen over the years and the visits she made to Ann.

Your mom was as sweet, classy, gracious and kind as anyone I ever met. I love to recall how, decades ago when Jack and I were budding writers tapping out comedy sketches in the basement, the door would open and your mom would come down with a tray of snacks and the sunniest smile in the world. You all won the grand prize in the mom lottery. My thoughts are with you all.
