Rose M. Carlstedt Carlstedt, Rose M. of Pendleton, NY, passed away on Wednesday October 29, 2008 at home. Born on April 26, 1920 in Lockport, she was the daughter of the late John and Gertrude Miller Sweeney. She and her late husband, Raymond H. Carlstedt, Sr., were married on June 6, 1951. Mr. Carlstedt passed away on June 17, 1994. Rose was a News Carrier for the Union Sun & Journal for 27 years. She was a member of the Ransomville Eastern Star Chapter #374 for 36 years, enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Wife of the late Raymond H. Carlstedt, Sr., she is survived by her children, Joanne Carlstedt of CA, Holly (Richard) Johnson of Pendleton, Raymond (Connie) Carlstedt, Jr. of Lockport and Tammy (Wayne) Sisk of Wheatfield, 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Sunday November 16, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Open Arms Community Church, 4143 Beach Ridge Rd., N. Tonawanda, NY 14120.
