Obituary of Doris J. Lewis

Doris J. Lewis of Lockport, NY passed away on Sunday January20, 2019 in Elderwood of Lockport. Born on February 26, 1926 in Riverruth, MI, she was the daughter of Herman and Eleanor Barber Rath. Doris worked in the circulation department at the Union Sun & Journal for 20 years, was a member of Lockport United Church of Christ and the Kings Daughters.

Wife of the late William M. Lewis and sister of the late Elsie Pidcock and Gloria Bourassa, she is survived by her children, Eugene (late Deborah) Lewis and Susan (late Stanley) Wilson; six grandchildren, Jessica and Ryan Lewis, Heather and Bobbi Jo Washbon and Gregory (Kimberly) and Melissa Wilson; 12 great grandchildren, Justin, Tyler, Michael, Matthew, Jordan, Sierra, Jaydan, Gregory, Lucy, Theodore, Jackson and Jacob; sister, Barbara Kotlak and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave. where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 AM. Interment in St. Peters Cemetery.
