Obituary of Ernest G. McPeek

Ernest G. “Hanshi” McPeek of Sanborn, NY passed away on Sunday June 16, 2019 in Buffalo VA Medical Center. Born on November 19, 1947 in Buffalo, he was the son of Frank, Jr. and Gertrude Gaylord McPeek. Ernie served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1967 – 1970. He was 10^th Degree Grand Master and the former owner of USA Self Defense Center and retired from Bryant & Stratton College as a Criminal Justice Professor.

Ernie is survived by his wife, Debby Rankie-McPeek; children, Richard (Jen Full), Glenn and Elizabeth McPeek; step children: Jennalee (Kevin) and Erica Striffler, five grandchildren; brother, Ronald (Alice) McPeek and half brothers, Mark and Jeff McPeek.

Friends may call on Thursday June 20^th 4-7 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave., Lockport where Military Funeral Honors will follow at 7 PM.
