Obituary of Maryanna Julia Lisiecki

Maryanna Julia Lisiecki of Gasport, NY, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Elderwood of Lockport. Born on August 19, 1937 in Buffalo, she was the daughter of the late Leonard A. and Pauline (Pawlak) Lisiecki. She worked at Mills Jewelers, Pies Furniture, Niagara Tourism, and provided home healthcare to friends and family members. She was predeceased by her brothers, Michael Lisiecki and Leonard (late Virginia) Lisiecki, Jr. and nephew, Brian Lisiecki. Maryanna is survived by her nieces, Susan Lisiecki, Melissa (Robert) Henshaw and Kathryn (Timothy) Ames; great-nephews: Ryan (Joanna) Farrell, Noah Henshaw, and Tyler Ames; great-nieces, Olivia Henshaw, and Bailey (Jon) Wells and great-great nieces Quinn Farrell, and Harlyn Wells and great-great nephew Juddson Wells. Maryanna loved her family, friends and especially her pets. She had a big heart for animals and rescued many strays from the snowy Western New York winters, bringing them into her home. She worked with her brother Mike on the family fruit farm, where she loved the outdoors and being able to bring fresh fruits and vegetables to the local community. She looked forward to summer harvests and interacting with customers young and old as they picked strawberries or just picked up a basket of cherries. An avid baker – she relished sharing fresh pies and cookies with friends. Family and friends may call on Thursday Jan. 21st from 3-6 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME. INC., 186 East Ave., Lockport. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Middleport.
