Nancy E. Apolito of Carrollton, TX, formerly of Lockport, NY, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 after a short illness due to COVID-19. She was born on September 17, 1941 in Lockport, and was the daughter of the late Chesley A. and Ruth (Ferris) Secrist. Nancy was a graduate of Lockport High School class of 1959 and worked as a Data Entry Clerk at Sigels Beverages in Dallas, TX. for over 25 years. Prior to moving to Texas in 1985, she was a big part of the family business, the former, Chet’s Dog House. Nancy is survived by her children, James (Nancy) Apolito, Darlene (Scott) Firkins and Deborah (Wesley) Pierce; grandchildren, Megan Apolito, Sean (Jessica) and Ashley Firkins and Brandon and Bailey Pierce; step grandchildren, Colleen (Robert) Smith and Shannon Ewing; great grandchildren, Avery and Cole Firkins; sisters-in-law, Sandy and Marlene Secrist and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers, Robert, David and Richard Secrist. Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave. A private Memorial Service will follow. Interment in Cold Springs Cemetery. Condolences may be offered to the family at langefuneralhomeinc.com.
