John P. “Jack” Sokay of Lockport, NY, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021 in St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born on July 4, 1941 in Lockport, he was the son of the late John E. Sokay and Dorothy (Charters) Goessl. Jack was a custodian at George Southard Elementary School for 20 years. He and his late wife, Donna Lovell Sokay were married on November 4, 1961 and she predeceased him on December 31, 1985. Jack was an Elvis Presley fan and a passionate car enthusiast. Predeceased by the love of his life, Donna Lovell Sokay, Jack is survived by nieces, nephews and his dear friend, Nancy Agostini. Friends may call on Thursday, Feb. 4th from 1:30 - 2:30 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave., Lockport, followed by a Funeral Service. Interment in Cold Springs Cemetery.
