Shirley L. Brewer of Lockport, NY, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021, in Beechwood Continuing Care. Born on October 23, 1927, in Lockport, she was the daughter of the late Elmer H. Lederhaus, Sr. and late Dorothy (Lambalzer) Millheiser. Shirley graduated from Lockport High School and Bryant & Stratton Business Institute. She worked part-time as an office secretary at Villager Apartments for 20 years. Shirley volunteered at Odd Fellows Health Facility for many years and was a long-serving member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. Wife of the late Joseph E. Brewer, Shirley is survived by her daughters, Barbara Brewer, Molly Vera and Amy Brewer-Zwelling (Paul); granddaughters, Lourdes Vera and Joedin Zwelling and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers, Elmer (Red) Lederhaus, Jr. and Raymond Lederhaus. Relatives and friends may call on Friday, July 9th from 10 – 11:30 AM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave., with a time of remembrance to follow. Private interment in Cold Springs Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 6965 Chestnut Ridge Road, Lockport, NY 14094. Condolences may be offered to the family at langefuneralhomeinc.com.
