Nancy Bloomgren Diefenbach Diefenbach, Nancy B. of Lockport, NY passed away on Monday March 16, 2009 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born on August 21, 1941 in Jamestown, NY, shewas the daughter of Edwin and Kathryn Brown Bloomgren. Nancy received her teaching degree from SUNY at Cortland and was a physical education teacher at Lewiston Porter and then Starpoint. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church, enjoyed painting, crafts and watching country western movies.She was a personable person who was able to converse on a variety of subjects. Predeceased by her husband, Christian K. Diefenbach, on December 30, 2001, she is survived by her sisters, Patricia Lanighan and Janet Hanna, one nephew, Gregory (Karen) Hanna, two nieces, Colleen (David) Glanz and Karie (Daniel) Meyers, great nephews and nieces, Andrew, Matthew, Kyle, Katelin and Jennifer and her best friend,Kelly. Friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at First English Lutheran Church, 185 Locust St., Lockport. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery immediately following.Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Assn.
