Vallie Mildred Whitesell, age 101, of Lockport, NY, went to be with her Lord on Monday, November 1, 2021, in Schoellkopf Health Center. Born on January 9, 1920, in Juneau, PA, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Dessie (Carey) White. She married Paul R. Whitesell on December 27, 1943. After her husband retired, they travelled extensively and especially loved being in Deming, New Mexico. She was a member of the Salvation Army and their Womens Guild until she went into the Lockport Presbyterian Home six years ago. Wife of the late Paul R. Whitesell, she is survived by her son, Paul V. (Bonnie) Whitesell; two grandchildren, Michele (Anthony) Smith and Jennifer (Dave) Berner and three great-grandchildren, Anthony and Ashley Smith, and Michael Ficarra.
