Antonio P. “Tony” Bermudez of Gasport, NY, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, in Brookdale Assisted Living. Born on February 22, 1924, in Havana, Cuba, he was the son of the late Antonio and Helen (Goff) Bermudez. He worked in sales and marketing for Westinghouse Electric in Cheektowaga for 29 years, retiring in 1982. He and his wife of 71 years, Barbara (Shafer) Bermudez met in Havana, Cuba and were married in Gasport, NY on May 23, 1951. Surviving is his wife, Barbara; two sons, Barry (Judith) Bermudez and Bradley (Peggy) Bermudez; four grandchildren, Angela (Anthony) Cayce, Diana (Mitch Porter) Bermudez, Alicia Bermudez and Benjamin Bermudez and a great granddaughter, Liliana Cayce. He was predeceased by his sister Betty Clement. Friends may call on Saturday, June 25th from 2:30 - 4:30 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave., Lockport, NY. Services will follow at 4:30 PM. Private interment in Royalton Mountain Ridge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to FeedMore WNY, 100 James E. Casey Dr., Buffalo, NY 14206.
