Blanche M. Brown Brown, Blanche M. of Barker, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday May 2, 2009 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born on April 13, 1954 in Lockport, NY, she was the daughter of Walter and Isabel Dashnau Metzler. She was a very encouraging person who loved animals, especially her poodles and was accomplished at knitting and crocheting. Blanche is survived by her son, Scott P. Brown of North Tonawanda, sisters, Patty Metzler, Darlene Shephard, Mary Lou Metzler and Liz Stout, brothers, John Metzler, Walter Metzler,Paul Metzler and Dan Metzler, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Teresa Metzler. Friends may call on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Lange Funeral Home, Inc., 186 East Avenue, Lockport, NY. Funeral services will be private.
