Joan R. Wilson of Lockport, NY, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022, in ECMC. Born on August 13, 1932, in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Sarah (Forkey) Reichlin. Joan attended D’Youville College and worked for 27 years as a Teacher Aide for BOCES lastly in Newfane, NY. She was also a private piano teacher. Joan loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her husband, Dr. Louis Wilson; son, Douglas and brother, Frank (late Joanne) Reichlin; Joan is survived by her children, Martha (Darrell) Meister, Dr. Craig (Becky) Wilson and Barbara (Frank) Maynard; grandchildren, Darrell (Jacqui), Rachel (Adam), Eric (Corie), Nicole, Christina, and Benjamin; great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Nolan, Leah, Luca, Eva and Benjamin and her dog, Rocky.
